In 2017 JSC "NC" SEC "Shymkent" initiated a program to increase the quantity of milch cows. A pilot project for the production and collection of milk was launched in the village of Karabulak in the South Kazakhstan region. The meaning of the project is that every local resident could earn without leaving his personal farmstead.
The rural production cooperative "Karabulak Sut" purchased 120 cattle for the amount of 42 million tenge. And the most adapted and productive cows were chosen - for 350 000 tenge each, which is also an advantage of this project. Any peasant who joined the cooperative "Karabulak Sut" can get a cow and then return the loan with milk. Each farmer can take as many animals as he can keep. In addition, the crop of a cow is the property of farmers. Thus, JSC "NC" SEC "Shymkent" for several years intends to distribute up to 10 000 cows. Such a volume of cows is planned to be imported from abroad, which will increase the total number of livestock in the country. To date, more than 30 people have joined the cooperative. Milk and other products of cattle will always be in demand, and, therefore, the economic success of the project is assured.
